A closer look at the identities, websites, apps and publishing systems behind IAM’s recent work—and the build journal that will make that work visible.

The brand should be visible in the product

A business identity needs to do more than sit in a navigation bar. Its language, images and character should help people understand the offer, recognise the business and know what to do next. IAM’s work connects that identity to websites, app interfaces, real project stories and useful enquiry routes.

That connection has not been clear enough on our own homepage. We have been showing the industry network more prominently than the branding and product work that helps make its businesses recognisable. This journal starts correcting that: show the work, explain the decisions and link to what is actually live.

Three different jobs, three different identities

PlowWow™ uses the approved Wow character in a blue beanie and orange high-visibility vest. Its Snow Intelligence story is in its first year of beta. The brand can be distinctive while the software’s development status stays explicit.

Rambo Wall & Ceiling starts with actual trade photography. A recent Vancouver T-bar archive image became a project planning article and a matching Google Business Profile update. The work remains credited, and project enquiries go to Rambo.

The Mining Minute needs a publication identity: an image-led magazine, sector desks, readable short briefs and source context. Its recent expansion gave it at least two articles in each of its twelve categories, alongside core pages and a contributor invitation. That describes the verified release, rather than a promise about traffic or investment results.

What the daily journal will cover

The journal will follow brand identity, approved logos and mascots, app development, website releases, client publishing and meaningful product updates. A daily article can explain one useful decision instead of stretching a list of small edits into a launch announcement.

A release is called live only after checking the actual page. A beta stays a beta. A design concept is labelled as a concept. An existing article can support a practical lesson without being presented as newly completed work. We will show the relevant images, link to the public result and give the next step a clear destination.

A brand with a job to do

For a contractor, the next step might be sending drawings to the right business. For a publication, it may be reading a one-minute brief or applying to contribute. For an app, it may be understanding what is available today and what is still being evaluated.

That is the standard IAM is working toward: a recognisable identity, a useful digital experience and a rollout people can see and use. Start with the work, then judge the story against the actual result.
