Our Mission: pSEO Built for the Little Guy | IAM

INDUSTRY ARMY MARKETING · EST. NOVEMBER 18, 2011

A pSEO powerhouse. Built for the little guy.

Our mission is to give smaller businesses the brand, publishing and search infrastructure to compete with big corporations. IAM connects industry domains, programmatic SEO, original content and practical marketing experience in one growing ecosystem.

Our founder began doing SEO for his own construction company in 2004. Years of marketing that business and a select group of clients led to a bigger ambition: acquire industry domains and build a connected SEO system that independent businesses could afford to join. IAM was established on November 18, 2011.

Your information. A structured system. More room to compete.

Our pSEO approach brings business information into reusable structures for service pages, industry coverage and market content. The system is designed to process approved information faster and more accurately by reusing confirmed facts, keeping contact details consistent and applying repeatable publishing checks. Human review remains part of the work.

Performance is the brief: useful pages, clear information and an efficient route from your expertise to publication. We are building toward the best SEO system we can for the little guy—giving good independent companies more ways to be discovered, without needing a corporate marketing department.

Two ways to belong. One commitment to quality.

We began with a focused idea: give one service provider a defined place in an industry and market. We also believe healthy competition helps good businesses improve. Our dual approach combines wider participation with selected marketing partnerships.

    Join a relevant industry hub

Start with a business registration and directory listing on one hub, currently $10 a year. Build an accurate presence around the services you actually provide. Registration alone does not mean your credentials have been verified.

    Apply for a selected partnership

We want to work with businesses whose quality work, references, honest communication and accountability stand behind their marketing. Branding, websites, apps, content and SEO are agreed in a separate scope.

Any exclusive placement must be confirmed for a specific IAM-owned category and market. It cannot remove competitors from Google or guarantee a search position.

    EYESPYR.COM · CLIENT BETA · COMING SOON

A business trust layer built around evidence.

We are developing EyeSpyR to help people distinguish a business listing from information checked against relevant sources. The aim is a growing record of real businesses and the credentials that apply to their work.

The scope may include contractors, real estate professionals, transport operators and healthcare providers, with checks appropriate to local, provincial, state or federal requirements. Different professions need different credentials. Planned records would identify the issuing source, what was checked, the date and any limits on the check.

This is an evolving client beta. Broad credential coverage and automated verification are not being offered as completed features. A check is a dated piece of evidence, not a guarantee of future performance or a replacement for the relevant regulator.

Fair reviews. Room for proof and a response.

Good businesses deserve protection from fabricated claims. Customers deserve to share honest experiences, including criticism. Our proposed review policy starts with both principles.

    • Invite evidence of a genuine service experience, with private information redacted.
    • Give the business notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond.
    • Distinguish supported information, unresolved disputes and claims that could not be confirmed. A missing receipt alone does not prove a review is false.
    • Develop a clear review and appeal process, with voluntary mediation where appropriate.
    • Keep moderation independent of whether a business pays IAM. Payment must not buy removal of legitimate criticism.

These are policy commitments under development, not a live mediation service or an established certification programme. Detailed criteria, privacy safeguards and appeal procedures will be published before a wider rollout.

    Why another layer alongside Google?

A business profile and a profession-specific credential check answer different questions. Google’s verification methods vary and can include video evidence and business documents such as a permit, invoice or utility bill. Our goal is to add clearly scoped credential information rather than imply a Google profile establishes every professional qualification.
